Exploring the Area

We want to extend a big Texas welcome to all of our out-of-town guests.

And share some helpful info for lodging and enjoying the area on this page

The Boerne Area

Kevin's Home Town

A Quaint Texas Hill Country Town

You may want to do deep exploring of the town, shop on main street, or just head over to the Hungry Horse for a quick homestyle meal. We enjoy walks on River Road, and the coffee at Black Rifle is pretty dope.

Here's a link for more info of Boerne.

Comfort, TX

A Tiny Town of the Hill Country

This is where Kevin's mother was raised and now lays to rest.

We enjoy slow drives through Comfort to look at the old houses and massive oak trees.

Antiquers will enjoy Shopping With Siobhain. They also have a few VRBO rentals on property for a more eclectic stay.

San Antonio

Known for the River Walk and Home of the Alamo

Perhaps you will want to take in the views right in downtown San Antonio; The Historic Pearl (where we enjoyed our second date); or find something fun to do around the city. There's plenty!

Don't know if you were trying to find a famous and historic hatter (Paris Hatters) to leave Texas with a western souvenir or enjoy some good BBQ at Ashleigh's favorite BBQ place, Smoke on Broadway (Order burnt ends and ask for the sauce they put on the ribs, soo good), but whatever you find to do we're sure you will enjoy!

And pretty much any Mexican restaurant you find in this city is going to be good.
